  Notes	Obituary: Frank P. Van Hees, 78, passed away on June 7, 2003 in Norfolk, Virginia, while visiting his daughter. He died of lung cancer. Born in Platte, South Dakota, to the late Henry and Arika Van Hees, he grew up in Grand Haven, Ottawa, MIchigan, and was a resident of Ft. Myers since 1969. He had a successful career as an insurance agent for more than 35 years. His brother, Henry Van Hees, predeceased him. He is survived by his former wife of 40 years, Sharon, nee Briggs, now of Morrisville, North Carolina; three sons, Frank Van Hees of Muskegon, Michigan; James Van Hees of Ft. Myers, Florida; and the late Robert Van Hees; two daughters, Susanne Ash of Norfolk, Virginia, and Shawn Van Hees of Morrisville, North Carolina. He loved his son-in-law, George Ash, as a son. He has 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He was cremated by Smith & Williams Funeral Home in Norfolk, Virginia. A private memorial service will be held on June 21, 2003.
