  Notes	"Grietje" Obituary - Grand Haven Tribune, August 2, 1948 Mrs. Gertrude Dirkse Services for Mrs. Gertrude Dirkse, who died Friday morning after a long illness, were held Monday afternoon at the Van Zantwick funeral chapel. Dr. John Masselink, pastor of the First Christian Reformed Church , conducted the service which was largely attended. Mrs. Simon Petersen and Mrs. George Kruizenga sang "Rock of Ages" and "Trusting Jesus" accompanied by Mrs. Helene Trapp. Many beautiful floral tributes were sent to the family. The pallbearers were Joe LaMaire, Ben Zenderink, William Brouwer, William Slootmaker, Jack Tysman, and Ollie Tysman. Burial was in Lake Forest Cemetery.
