    • On Nov 10, 1874 he purchased 40 acres in section 32 of Weston Township Clark County WI for $160 from the heirs of Samuel Marsh. Transferred this property to his mother for $1 (love and affection) on Nov 29, 1876. Anne Brown transferred this property to her daughter Mary Jane on Feb 28, 1878 for $1 and future care of herself and Maxwell Brown.

      On March 1, 1881 he purchased 80 acres in section 19 of Weston Township Clark County WI for $480.

      1885 Colorado state census has him living in Saguache County working in the saw mill. Why?

      1900 -1910 Census, living in McCoy, Eagle County, Colorado. Shown as purchased land in 1899. 1920 census living in Arvada, Jefferson Co, Colorado with wife. Land records in Arvada show he owned 80 acres valued at $1600.
